• He left school close to graduation to pursue stand up comedy
• His first job was as a stand up comedian in Vancouver
• 1986: He joined the Second City comedy ensemble in Toronto, a highly acclaimed comedy group
• 1988 to 1998: Became a regular on the hit UK improvisational television series “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”
• 1990: He moved to Los Angeles to perform with the Los Angeles Second City group
• 1991: Got a role in “Hot Shots”, a comedy film with Charlie Sheen
• 1993: Took a new role in “Hot Shots: Part Deux”, the much anticipated sequel
• 1995 to 2004: Became “Lewis” on the hit American series of the“Drew Carey Show”
• 1998 to present: Is a regular cast member and executive producer for the US spin off of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”
