Antiquarian Cataloguer Position
Full time (or 2 x part-time), short term (6 mths)
£ 22,000 - £25,000 per annum pro rata

Regent’s Park College (RPC), a Permanent Private Hall of the University of Oxford, has a full-time (or 2 x part-time), short term (6 mth), grant- funded position which will provide a unique opportunity for a qualified and experienced antiquarian cataloguer. RPC has recently secured funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) to develop an application for an exciting project which will enable The Angus Library and Archive to reach a wider audience resulting in greater participation.

We are therefore looking for someone who has the appropriate skills and experience to undertake a comprehensive assessment of the cataloguing needs and requirements of the Angus Library collection and backlog. They will then be required to present the findings in a report that will inform the application process. Experience with HLF projects and an understanding of the requirements of activity plans, would be an advantage. Whilst our preference is for a full time position we are also happy to consider a part time and job share options.

For more information regarding this position or to request an information pack please contact the College Librarian, emma.walsh@regents.ox.ac.uk or (01865)288120.
Closing date is 5pm 10th February 2012.
