Work Placements

Newman University values the importance of work experience and gaining employability skills which is part of all courses. All students on an Initial Teacher Education course have work placements in schools as part of their course. Students on undergraduate degree programmes complete a work placement module in their second year and many have the opportunity to do so again in their third year. Students have the opportunity to carry out a graduate role in any sector, as long as it related to their undergraduate degree.
