Newman University is proud to be hosting the 25th Annual Church Universities and Colleges Choir Festival in March 2013.

The festival is designed to bring together students and staff from the Cathedrals Group to share their love of choral music and appreciate each other’s talents.

The festival will take place on Saturday 9th March 2013 at 7pm and will include a performance of Brahms’ ‘German Requiem’.

Venue

The festival’s organisers at Newman are delighted to announce that Symphony Hall, Birmingham will be the venue for the 2013 festival. Opened in 1991 to immediate public and critical acclaim, its world-class acoustics and stunning auditorium ensure that Symphony Hall is considered to be not only the UK’s finest concert hall but also one of the best in the world.
