Chaplaincy

Newman University College Chaplaincy is proud to be at the heart of the university college, encouraging all the community to engage in and feel part of Newman's Catholic ethos. The Chaplaincy exists to enable all at Newman to explore and experience "Life to the Full" Jn 10:10. Students and staff are welcome to join in the activities of the Chaplaincy, including services, retreats and social activities. The Chaplaincy is open and welcoming to all faiths and is committed to ensuring that all are free to worship.

The Chaplain, Margaret Holland works alongside students and staff, providing support, encouragement and assistance, as well as organising and leading prayer and worship. Fr. Stefan Laszczyk, the Catholic Parish Priest at St. Paul's, Kings Norton, joins the community to celebrate the sacraments.   Mass is celebrated in the College Chapel on Sundays (7pm), Mondays (8.30am) and Thursdays (8.30am) in semester time.

The Chaplaincy supports the CathSoc, Christian Union, and Islamic Society Soc who meet regularly. Details of times and venues of their meetings and events are on the notice screens around the University College. For more information please email m.holland@newman.ac.uk
