Starting university can be daunting and is likely to be very different to anything you’ve done before. As well as developing your subject specific skills, you will be encouraged to take responsibility for your own learning, developing and stretching your ideas.

Over the pages in this section, have a go at the activities. These are designed to help you to reflect on your current skills and abilities, along with your expectations and assumptions. You can save or print these off as you go along. This will be particularly useful if you are taking part in the HEADstart course in September.
