Information Technology
The IT team is based in a purpose-built centre which is equipped with up-to-date technical facilities. The IT courses at Newman are well established and we have been successfully training IT specialists for over 10 years.
We offer a range of undergraduate degrees which lead either a BSc/BA for those intending to become IT professionals, or a KS2/3 BA with qualified teacher status for those intending to become teachers.
We also offer a postgraduate course (PGCE Secondary ICT) for graduates wishing to teach in addition to a Foundation Degree (part-time) for IT Technicians.
