Eresource Access and Library System Problems

We are currently aware of reported problems or planned maintenance on the following services:


  • Athens Services underwent maintenance on Monday 26th January 2015 between 07:00am - 09:00am. Users may have experienced some disruption during this maintenance window. (reported 26/01/2015)
  • JISC Media Hub - Users will not be able to "type the name of your organisation" into the search box. As a temporary solution please use "Let me choose from a list" and select your Newman University. The UK Access Management Federation are currently working on resolving this issue. (reported 04/11/14)
  • Springerlink off campus access is not working. Springer are working to fix this problem. (reported 08/10/2014)


Library System:

  • The problem logging into My Account on the Library catalogue which was being experienced by a small number of students, now appears to be resolved. We apologise for the difficulties you have had. Our suppliers are still monitoring the situation, so if it recurs, please let us know urgently. (updated 21/11/14)
