Dorothy Heathcote's Legacy
Updated on: 23/05/2012
Taking place at Newman University, the Dorothy Heathcote’s Legacy conference is a two-day conference. It is an ideal opportunity for teachers and students who use the 'Mantle of the Expert' system of teaching, which is an enquiry-based method of teaching the curriculum that has been adopted by many schools at both primary and secondary level.
At this special two-day event, organised by the West Midlands ‘Mantle of the Expert’ Network, a range of practitioners will demonstrate the continuing influence of Dorothy Heathcote’s work in their current practice and thinking.
The key speakers will be Eileen Pennington and Luke Abbott. The event will run from Saturday 16th June to Sunday 17th June 2012, 9.30am-4.30pm, and will take place on Newman’s campus.
The early-bird booking fees are £95 for non-members, £70 for members and £40 for students if you book before 1st June. Booking fees after this date are £105 for non-members, £80 for members and £50 for students. To book a place please email news@midlandactortheatre.co.uk
