Open Days at Newman
Our next general open day for all enquirers will take place on:

Saturday 7th July 2012

10am until 3pm

Newman University College Open Days give prospective students, their families and friends the opportunity to meet staff and students and obtain further information about the range of courses we offer. You will have the opportunity to attend presentations on the following topics

• Student Finance
• Studying for a Single and Combined Honours Degree
• Initial Teacher Education

Our next open evening for foundation degrees, top-up awards and professional part-time courses will take place on:

Wednesday 23rd May 2012

4pm until 8pm

The open evening will give prospective students a chance to discuss their professional development needs with our friendly and experienced staff. Visitors are free to drop in at any point between those times and are welcome to stay as long as they find useful.

Education Liaison and Student Recruitment
The University College's Education Liaison team visit schools and colleges to provide interactive workshops and presentations on a range of issues to improve applications to higher education, including student finance, the UCAS applications process, writing effective personal statements, what to consider when choosing a university, how to research your university choice and various subject specific taster sessions for year 12 students. Please contact the Education Liaison and Student Recruitment team detailing how we can help your school or college or to book a session.
