Biography
Taz graduated in BA (Hons) Fine Art from The School of Art, University of Northampton in 2008. During 2007 - 2008 she established an art group and received sponsorship to run an art space to exhibit work of local artists for the community within an arts centre in Northampton. After a successful year the sponsorship ended and she began a program of curating outdoor exhibitions in country parks throughout Northampton. During 2007- to date she created and received a grant for an interactive art project 'The Blue Blob' which is designed to engage wide public audiences in creativity (www.theblueblob.com).
Research Interest
Taz is currently working with a collection of other artists to exhibit our work in group shows throughout the midlands. Her work is predominately sculpture and installation but is then always taken into digital media and explored further. For the next 2 years, Taz is studying for a Media Arts MA, funded by Newman.
Current Administrative Duties
Taz is the Graduate Assistant for Creative Arts and supports students in Art and Design, Drama, Music and Media. She is an Apple Certified Pro in Video Editing.
