The Student Associates Scheme, (SAS), was a Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) initiative, provided by Newman University College with the aims of:

• encouraging current students to consider teaching as a possible career
• helping encourage young people to raise their aspirations and enter higher education
• supporting schools by providing student assistance

The final deadline for applications to the 2010-11 Scheme has now passed and the Scheme will not operate beyond this year.  For further information, or for alternatives, please visit the TDA website - www.tda.gov.uk.
