This course will run for the first time in academic year 2019/20.

A flexible taught Master’s programme for students interested in critical criminology, criminal justice and social justice.

The MA Criminology and Criminal Justice is a stimulating and demanding programme that will give you a critical understanding of criminological theory, the operation of the criminal justice system and a training in research design and methodology. A blended learning approach provides flexible study and the inclusion of an option of work placed study makes this MA particularly suitable for people working in the criminal justice or associated sectors. Whatever combination of modules and teaching approaches you chose you will benefit from our commitment to a student centred critical pedagogy and a high level of individual tutor support

To complete the MA Criminology and Criminal Justice you will need to take three core modules and two optional modules.

Good honours degree (2:2 or above), in a relevant field.
