What are the entry requirements
We welcome students from all backgrounds and accept a wide range of qualifications. If yours aren’t listed, don’t worry – our Admissions Team can help you explore your options. See full entry requirements.
A relevant honours degree, 2:2 or above.
If you are in receipt of overseas qualifications and have no evidence of UK study you may be required to demonstrate your English proficiency through a Secure English Language Test (SELT) such as IELTS.
The Admissions team will provide further details within your offer.
Consideration will be given to applicants with lower grade in qualifications (e.g. a 3rd class degree or non-honours degree) who have a relevant range of post study professional experience. Professional experience will be considered by the programme leader in conjunction with the quality office on an individual basis.

Fees
All fees are shown in GBP (£).
The tuition fee for the 2026/27 academic year is: £11,250.
Fees for the 2027/28 academic year can be found on our Student Finance pages and choosing your degree type.
Please note: If this course includes a Foundation Year, the fees shown above apply to the Foundation Year only. Fees for subsequent years will be charged at the standard undergraduate full-time fee.

Additional costs
The University will review tuition fees and increase fees in line with any inflationary uplift as determined by the UK Government, if permitted by law or government policy, in subsequent years of your course. It is anticipated that such increases would be linked to RPI (the Retail Price Index excluding mortgage interest payments).

Successful completion of the MBA can lead to managerial careers in a range of business sectors, in roles such as Regional Manager, Business Development Manager, Senior Team Leader, Operations Manager, Brand Manager, Market Research Analysist or Management Consultant, as well as becoming a business owner.
You could also progress to doctoral study, with a PhD at Birmingham Newman University.

While it is not currently accredited by a professional business body, the course has been developed in line with current industry expectations and academic standards. It introduces you to the expectations and responsibilities of business professionals and provides a strong foundation for further training or postgraduate study.
