Overview

Newman's annual Credo Training Day (in partnership with the CES and Diocesan RE Advisors) to support those teaching RE in Catholic primary and secondary schools will run on Wednesday 1st July 2020. Theological inputs will include scripture/hermeneutics and eschatology/life after death. Workshops will be offered on both the new National Curriculum Directory for RE and prayer and worship in the new section 48 inspection framework. Speakers include David McLoughlin (Newman University), Philip Robinson (CES), and Matthew Dell (Directory for Collective Worship Working Group). Participants will be able to take part in each workshop.

Cost £65 includes refreshments and light lunch.
