Supporting Current Students with Disabilities – An Overview

Who should access our services? 

Our service is not just here for students who consider themselves ‘disabled’.  It is here for any students who have on-going physical conditions, mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety etc, Specific Learning Difficulties, hearing or visual loss etc.

The Disability and Inclusion service can help you in a variety of ways:

  • Advice on reasonable adjustments and other available assistance
  • Provide information and advice about funding available through Disabled Students Allowance (DSA)
  • Arrange examination adjustments
  • Help you find out if you have dyslexia
  • Assist with arrangements for diagnostic psychological assessments
  • Advice on adjustments and support for work placements or field trips
