Birmingham Skills for Enterprise and Employability Network (BSEEN) has recently named Bobby Bradstock, an Alumna of Newman University, as its Entrepreneur of the month.

BSEEN offers students and graduates support for start-up new ventures and successful participants benefit from workshops, networking opportunities, mentoring, grants, and a dedicated workspace.

Bobby studied for her BSc in Psychology and Counselling Studies before progressing to gain her MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy, studying both at Newman University, and graduating in 2019.

Throughout her studies, Bobby gained work experience at Newman Health & Wellbeing and in her final year, Bobby entered into the BSEEN programme and was successful in gaining funding for her business. She began building her brand and website, eventually creating Serenity Psychotherapy.

Since graduating, Bobby’s business has grown and Serenity Psychotherapy now has an office in Hall Green as well as in Earlswood. Bobby has worked with tuition providers, social enterprises, and holistic wellbeing providers and most recently held her first networking event with Santander in Birmingham.

All of the above have contributed to Bobby being named as BSEEN’s Entrepreneur of the month.
