Newman celebrates awards recognition
Newman University is delighted to have been recognised in three categories at this year’s Whatuni Student Choice Awards.
The Whatuni Student Choice Awards are particularly meaningful as they are judged by students themselves and offer a real insight into students’ experiences at different institutions.
Newman University was nominated in three categories: Facilities; Lecturers and Teaching Quality; and Student Support.
Pleasingly, we were ranked in the Top 10 universities in the UK for all three categories, moving up the rankings to finish 5th for Student Support, 6th for Lecturer and Teaching Quality, and 9th for the quality of our facilities.
Simon Emmett, CEO at IDP Connect, said: “The Whatuni awards celebrate creativity, resilience and innovation whiten higher education. Congratulations go to the winners, alongside a huge ‘well done’ to all our shortlisted institutions and the sector as a whole. Each of our winners and finalists has gone above and beyond to positively impact students’ university experiences and these awards showcase the quality of higher education in the UK.”
This year’s awards saw over 35,000 verified student reviews generated from over 240 high education institutions nationwide. The awards are run by Whatuni.com, an independent and trusted comparison site used by over six million students each year.
