Newman Health & Wellbeing’s Clinical Manager writes for BACP Journal

Colette Lewis, Clinical Manager at Newman Health & Wellbeing has seen an article that she wrote published in the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Workplace Journal.

Newman Health & Wellbeing offers a range of services throughout the West Midlands aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of individuals within the local community, workplace, schools and colleges, and is based on the Newman University campus, Birmingham.

The article entitled ‘Generation next’ sees Colette talk about the growing mental health at work agenda and asks the question on how the next generation of workplace practitioners will be supported.

Colette explains how the majority of counsellors at Newman Health & Wellbeing are students at Newman University on placement, studying for either their master’s or foundation degree in Counselling and Colette works with those students, providing guidance and watching them grow into confident and knowledgeable counsellors and psychotherapists.
