WhatUni logoThe annual What Uni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs) highlight the work universities deliver for their students. The awards are collated from over 30,000 student reviews, collected on campuses around the UK and from students using the WhatUni website.

Newman University has been short-listed in three categories:

  • Lecturers and Teaching Quality
  • Facilities
  • Student Support

Student reviews give potential students the peer-to-peer information they need to make the right choice of university for them, as individuals. We’re delighted that feedback from Newman students has enabled us to be shortlisted for these awards.

Daniel Tasker, Director of Student Services, Newman University commented: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for our work in Student Services. Here at Newman we take pride in putting students at the centre of all we do and we believe strongly in providing encouragement, support, safety nets, and connections to all students throughout their Newman journey. We have a talented Student Services team dedicated to enabling our students to succeed with confidence and whose skill, care, and professionalism eases navigation through an exciting phase of life.”

The awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday 26 April 2023 at The Brewery, London. A full list of the shortlisted institutions for each category can be viewed online.
