The sad loss of Dr Mark Goodwin, Member of Newman University Council

It is with great sadness that we learnt of the death of Dr Mark Goodwin, Associate Professor in the Department of Genetics and Genome Biology at the University of Leicester. Mark was appointed to Newman University’s Council as Vice-Chair in 2012. Over many years Mark has made a significant contribution to the university. His dedication to Newman has been invaluable and he will be a sadly missed colleague and friend to all at Newman who worked with him and knew him.
