Meet Alicia, a first-year psychology student at Birmingham Newman University.

Determined to change her life and career, Alicia has faced numerous challenges, including language barriers and shyness. However, the supportive staff at Birmingham Newman have helped her build confidence and improve her academic skills.

Her advice to prospective students is simple: come in, speak to the staff, and don’t be shy—it will be worth it.
