Biography

Emily started her therapy training in 2010, completing qualifications at certificate, foundation degree and masters levels – gaining an MSc. in Integrative Psychotherapy (child, adolescent and adult combined) in 2018.

Whilst completing her MSc. she also worked at Newman Health and Wellbeing as the Child and Adolescent Case Manager and won the NASES Student Employee of the year award at both institutional and regional level for outstanding performance in the ‘Step up to Leadership’ category.

Emily has undertaken clinical placements in a variety of different therapeutic settings, with clients aged from 5 – 85.  Emily has a passion for clinical work and considers it a privilege to accompany people on their personal journeys.

Research Interests

Emily has an interest in Attachment Theory and the concept of ‘childhood’.

Teaching

Emily currently teaches across multiple programmes and is involved in delivering modules at both undergraduate and masters level.
