Biography

Janet is a lecturer on the primary ITE undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, specifically working on the broad curriculum subjects of Art and Design Technology. Her role also involves being an academic mentor and a partnership tutor for trainees on primary school experience.  Prior to joining Newman University, Janet spent almost 20 years working in primary schools across the West Midlands and Worcestershire working as a Key Stage 1 / Key Stage 2 teacher.  Janet worked as a teaching assistant for several years before qualifying to become a primary teacher.
