Biography
Tiffany is a lecturer in Criminology with experience teaching across levels 3 to 7, specialising in criminology, forensic psychology, and forensic science. She completed her PhD focusing on stalking among young people aged 16–24, and her research continues to explore stalking and violence against women and girls. Tiffany is passionate about raising awareness in these areas and is a trustee of the Alice Ruggles Trust, supporting education and prevention initiatives around stalking and coercive control.

Tiffany’s research focuses on violence against women and girls, with particular emphasis on stalking, coercive control, and digital forms of harm. Further research interests include the intersection of technology and abuse, including the role of social media in facilitating violence. Tiffany is actively involved in research-informed advocacy and prevention work through her role as a trustee of the Alice Ruggles Trust.
Teaching
Tiffany teaches across a range of criminological subjects, with a particular focus on the intersections between crime, psychology, and society. Her teaching interests include media and crime, forensic psychology, sociology of crime, crime and society, and gender and crime. She is committed to delivering engaging, research-informed teaching that encourages critical thinking and supports students in exploring complex social issues related to crime, justice, and inequality.
Administrative Responsibilities
Tiffany serves as a personal tutor, providing academic and pastoral support to students throughout their studies. As a link tutor, she works to maintain effective collaboration and academic standards across partner institutions. Tiffany is also a module lead, responsible for the design, delivery, and assessment of core and specialist content. She is actively involved in preparing and updating lecture materials to ensure that content remains current, research-informed, and engaging for students.
