Apply Direct to Birmingham Newman University

We know that everyone’s journey to university is different. That’s why Birmingham Newman offers the option to apply directly for many of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Whether you’re returning to education, changing direction, or simply prefer a more personal route, our direct application process is designed to be clear, supportive, and flexible – putting you at the heart of your university experience from the very beginning.

Postgraduate

To apply directly to a postgraduate course, go to the course you would like to apply for and then press the ‘Apply Now’ button on the left. This will then take you to the MyNewman portal. If you do not have an account already, then you will have to register your details in order to apply.

Part-time

To apply directly to a part-time course, go to the course you would like to apply for and then press the ‘Apply Now’ button. This will then take you to the MyNewman portal. If you do not have an account already, then you will have to register your details in order to apply.

Full-Time Undergraduate Course (not already applied via UCAS)

If you would like to study at Birmingham Newman University and have not already applied via UCAS, you can apply directly. Firstly, search for the course that you would like to apply to, then scroll down the page until you see the ‘Entry Requirements’ box. Once you have located this, you can then click on the ‘Direct Application’ link to open the MyNewman Portal and apply. If you do not have an account already, then you will have to register your details in order to apply.
