Dr Nkem Adeleye is a Senior Lecturer in Law. She leads and teaches on the following modules, Tort Law, Public Law, Dispute Resolution and Practice, Medical Law, International Human Rights and the Dissertation and Extended Project modules.

Your Semester one modules will include:

Introduction to Law

Contract Law

Tort Law

You will be taught through a combination of lectures and workshops. You will have 1 hour weekly lectures and 3 hour weekly seminars. The workshop sessions are interactive and focus on consolidating your learning and building vital legal and interactive skills.

  1. Introduction to Law – Tom Frost, Rebecca Huxley-Binns, Jacqueline Martin, Shaneez Mithani, Unlocking the English Legal System ( 7th edn Routledge 2022)
  2. Contract Law – Robert Merkin QC, Séverine Saintier, Poole’s Textbook on Contract Law (15th edn OUP 2021)
  3. Tort Law –Carol Brennan, Tort Law Directions (8th edn, OUP 2022)

Mondays 11:00am-12:00pm and 13:00-14:00pm

Tuesdays 9:00am-12:00pm and 13:00-16:00pm

Thursdays 9:00-10:00am and 11:00am-14:00pm
