Campus Activities

At Newman we believe that a big part of preparing learners for higher education is to let them experience university first hand. Bring along your students to our Newman campus to get a real insight into what life at university is like. Our team can design bespoke campus programmes tailored to you and your learners.  We offer a range of activities, such as talks, workshops, taster sessions, and interactive campus activities, to give you a real sense of what higher education is all about, and what it’s like to be a student at Newman.

We also offer a range of conferences and Taster Days.  Taster Days are subject-specific and are offered throughout the year. You have the choice of attending either a subject-specific Taster Day where other schools across the Midlands will be attending, or you can arrange for a selection of your students from different subject areas to attend a generic campus visit.

Please check this page regularly as it is updated frequently. However, if you cannot find what you are interested in do please contact a member of the team to discuss your requiements further and we will try our best to accommodate your needs.

Newman Taster Days – June 2017

Subject specific Taster Days are a great way for students who are interested in certain subject areas to come along and experience what studying at Newman is really like. You’ll get an opportunity to meet academics, our current students, get a tour of the campus, and engage in lively debates or workshops.

We have a programme off events for Newman Taster Days which run throughout June 2017. For more details click here.
