Campus Activities

At Newman we believe that a big part of preparing learners for HE is to let them experience university first hand. By bringing your students onto the University campus they will get a real insight of what life at University is like. The team can design bespoke programmes tailored to you and your learners, to include a range of talks/workshops including academic taster sessions and campus activities to give them a real sense of Higher Education. We also offer a range of conferences and Taster Days tailored to specific subjects and areas throughout the academic year.

You can either attend a subject specific taster day where other schools across the West Midlands will be attending. Or you can invite a selection of your students from different subject areas to attend a generic campus visit.

Please check this page regularly as it is updated frequently, however if what you are interested in is not shown, please contact a member of the team to discuss further and we will try our best to accommodate your needs.

Subject Specific Taster Days

Subject specific taster days are a great way for students who are interested in certain subject areas, to come along and experience what studying at Newman University would be like.

We hold specific subject taster days across a range of our subjects throughout the year which all include fun and interactive lectures, a chance to tour the campus, generic information and the opportunity to speak to current students studying that subject.

Upcoming dates:

Applied Social Science - 31st January 2017

Health and Social Care - 2nd February 2017
