We hope that thousands more students will have the opportunity to study here at Newman University, just as you did. With your help we can ensure that they can achieve their full potential. There are lots of ways you can show your support; supporting current students, volunteering and spreading the word to study with us.

Open Day Volunteers

We attract hundreds of prospective students to out Newman open days and evenings. These give visitors the opportunity to find out whether this is the university for them.

We are looking for willing graduates to help us showcase Newman University and talk positively to both prospective students and parents about their time here, what they studied and how it shaped their life.

If you are a Newman graduate and are willing to spare a couple of hours to help us at the alumni stand and promote the university then please contact us.

Provide a case study about your career

Case studies are used to give an insight into the career paths of our alumni to inform, inspire and motivate our current students and former graduates in their career choices.

Inspire our students

Give a talk about your career to our current students, explaining your journey since leaving Newman University and how the skills you learnt from your course have helped you in your professional career.

Newman University Alumni Volunteers Scheme

The Newman University Alumni Volunteers Scheme is an imitative set up by Newman University Alumni Association to recognise the contribute that our graduates make to support the University after they have finished their studies.

All alumni who volunteer their time, services or expertise will be formally recognised for their support and will also be invited to our annual Newman University Alumni Volunteers Thank You event, where guests will have the opportunity to meet the Vice-Chancellor and senior members of staff.

The scheme gives you an opportunity to give back to Newman and support the next generation of students, whilst gaining the opportunity to expand your CV to reflecting your active contribution to University activities.
