Liz McGrath joined the Newman Council as a Catholic member in 2017. Liz lives in Birmingham and practises from 3, Paper Buildings in Colmore Plaza. She specialises in family law, representing clients on all issues arising on divorce and judicial separation, and also representing local authorities, parents and children in public law care proceedings.
Liz graduated from Hull University where she served for a year as a student union sabbatical officer. She was called to the bar in 1987 and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2014. She is a Bencher at Inner Temple and sits on the executive committee of the Midland Circuits Women’s Forum.
