Newman University believes that children and young people have rights as individuals and should be treated with dignity and respect. The University will strive to provide a safe environment for any young people (under 18) in its care while they are studying at the University College, visiting the University or participating in University activities.

All University staff and students are required to take shared responsibility for the safeguarding and safety of any young people and vulnerable adults on campus. They must be aware of and abide by the University College’s Code of Good Practice.
