Gautam Rajkhowa

Biography

Gautam is Senior Lecturer & Programme Leader for the BSc Business Management programme. He is particularly interested in understanding organisational responses to broader environmental issues in the business landscape and translating this into a vehicle for use in the classroom. Gautam has extensive experience of curriculum development, review and programme management and has served as external adviser and examiner to several higher education institutions in the UK and overseas.

Prior to moving to academia in 1994, Gautam spent over 12 years in executive education, product management and market development in what was then an emerging information technology solutions space in India

Research Interests

Gautam’s research interests primarily revolve around the internationalisation of higher education, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity, access, equity, and the integration of internationalisation strategies within educational institutions. His Doctoral research examined the importance and significance of inclusive internationalisation in higher education and developed a framework for institutional practice.

Teaching

Gautam teaches on a range of undergraduate modules in the BSc Business Management programme.
