Why study abroad?
Studying abroad is a great way to enhance your CV and career prospects, develop your cultural awareness and learn or improve another language. As a Newman student, you can apply to spend a semester studying abroad at one of our partner universities or attend a shorter programme, for example a summer school.
How much will it cost to study abroad?
Birmingham Newman aims to apply for Turing government funding every year to help students who wish to study or work abroad. This funding is intended as a contribution to costs and students are normally expected to make some financial contribution themselves. The amount will vary depending on the type of study or work placement, and the destination.
