Train to Teach at Newman University
Newman University has been training teachers for 50 years, with over 13,500 students becoming qualified teachers through our Initial Teacher Education courses. We offer a range of primary and secondary routes to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), including School Direct, and have an established reputation for producing high quality teachers, who understand the needs of the children they teach, and develop creative and effective practice.

Applications opened on October 2018 for September 2019 entry. You should apply via UCAS Teacher Training. Just click on ‘Find programmes in England‘ and you will be taken to the new GOV.UK portal. You can then search for Newman University in the ‘find courses by location or by training provider‘ search facility.
