- Monday: 9am to 12pm
- Thursday: 9am to 11am and 12pm to 3pm
Full details of your individual academic timetable, including Semester 2 timetable which may differ, will be available via your university email calendar after you have completed online enrolment and set up your student login.
All and any questions will be discussed in during Welcome and with your Academic Personal Tutor during the semester.

Our core staff is Dr Juliette Harrisson, who specializes in the ancient world and Dr Norry LaPorte, who specialises in the modern European history and its relationship with the wider world.

Dr. Juliette Harrisson is the co-programme lead and a specialist in Ancient History, with a focus on Roman period myth and religion and the reception of the ancient world in modern popular culture, and Roman period myth and religion.
Dr. Norman LaPorte is a lecturer and specialist in Modern European History, with a focus on German communism and relations between Britain and the former German Democratic Republic, as well as the Weimar Republic.

In Semester one (September to December 2025), your core modules are:

- The Past is Never Dead (HSU415)
