Secondary Teacher Training (QTS) at Birmingham Newman University
Birmingham Newman University has more than 50 years’ experience of training teachers to be excellent classroom practitioners and our experienced tutors have strong relationships with schools throughout the West Midlands, ensuring high quality education and placement opportunities. As a Birmingham Newman-trained Secondary teacher, you will develop skills in working with 11-16 year olds, as well as gaining experience with post-16, and unlock the potential to inspire young people.
We offer a 1 year full time or 2 year part time PGCE route, as well as an undergraduate 3-year qualification, both with QTS.
