Welcome to our niche MSc Clinical Applications of Psychology here at Birmingham Newman University.
We are pleased to guide you in your journey of gaining more specific skills and knowledge to further your professional journey.
In our course we empower students to apply theory into practical contexts, whilst enhancing their academic qualifications in preparation for a career in Clinical Psychology and/or other professions in the area of Mental Health. We are looking forward to meeting you.
Welcome information
The lecturers teaching this course are experienced Psychologists with a wide range of experience in the Psychology field.
We have pre recorded lectures that you can study at your own pace.
Online-live sessions
To support your learning further, you will have the opportunity to attend scheduled live group tutorial/sessions with your tutor across the programme, which will be delivered on Wednesday’s 7pm to 8pm; and a weekly activity to help to consolidate your knowledge.
HeadStart – Monday 1 to Friday 5 September 2025
Headstart is a programme aimed at introducing our new students to University life. We understand that our students come from all walks of life and have personal and individual aspirations for taking this important step in their journey.
This programme is an opportunity to:
