The nature of this professional course allows for many practical sessions where subject knowledge and pedagogical skills are developed.
Our modules are structured around our 4 themes:
- The Role of the Teacher
- Teaching, Learning and Assessment
- Adaptive Practice
- Understanding and Managing Behaviour.
Some modules are whole-cohort professional studies sessions introducing central ideas in these themes. Other modules are subject-based, where you learn more about how that theme will work with respect to your subject in school.
All of this is underpinned by subject knowledge, which you will also be discussing and working on in your subject-based sessions.
