Welcome to BA(Hons) Applied Humanities at Birmingham Newman University.

We are delighted you have chosen to study with us on our innovative two-year accelerated degree. Our programme is designed to provide flexible and personalised learning for undergraduate students of all ages.

Through individual and group coaching, you will be supported to make a positive change in your life and wider communities.

We value the knowledge and skills you bring to your studies and will help you recognise, express and further develop your personal and professional achievements.

Module delivery

Personalised learning is at the heart of everything we do. Once you enrol you will be assigned a dedicated personal tutor who will support you as you settle into university life.

You will begin your degree by working towards creating your own personal development plan, developing a wide range of high-level communication and digital skills.

You will be taught through a combination of on-campus active learning sessions, online content, and individual and group coaching.

Our goal is to support you while you meet your personal and professional goals.

Your teaching team

BA Applied Humanities has a core teaching team which includes Charlotte, Duncan, Emma, Kristin, and Owen.

You will meet the team, your personal tutor, other academics and professionals over the course of the next few weeks.
