I’m Bruce Coates and I’m for the delivery of Drama at Newman. You’ll be working closely with me and other members of the Arts and Humanities team throughout your time with us.

Brief Summary

In Semester 1 you’ll be working on your first production which will be performed in the rehearsed and performed in Drama studio.

You’ll also be working alongside students from Applied Writing and English to develop your ability to think critically. In relation to reading, writing, performance and reflection.

Here are the dates and times during our welcome week when your teaching team will be expecting you on campus for welcome activity. Come to main reception and the welcome mentors will get you to the correct rooms:

Even if your course team are not expecting you to be in during Welcome Week on Tuesday 19th September, we strongly encourage you to come in and participate in our Student Union Fresher’s Fair.
