Team

The foundation team includes foundation lecturers and your degree subject lecturers from across the university. You’ll work with both foundation and subject lecturers across your foundation year.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Newman University!

Brief Summary

In semester one, you’ll take two modules: a foundation module called ‘Education and Society‘ and a subject-specific module ‘Degree Tutor Group.’

In ‘Education and Society’ you’ll work with your foundation lecturer to develop your academic skills and confidence while exploring a range of ideas and concepts from identity to inequality.

In your Degree Tutor Group, you’ll work with a degree-specific lecturer, and develop an understanding of the foundations of your chosen degree.
